Day 4: Jacques Duchesneau aims for defeat at all levels of government

Former Montreal police chief Jacques Duchesneau is set to announce tomorrow that he will be running for Coalition avenir Quebec in an attempt to lose an election at every level of Quebec government.

Having lost his bid for city councillor and mayor of Montreal, Duchesneau is now setting his sights on running for the third-place CAQ in the provincial election.

"Like a mediocre pole vaulter, Duchesneau keeps setting his sights just above where he can reach," said CAQ leader Francois Legault said.  "It's that sort of groundless hope for victory that we look for in the Coalition."
