Former policeman Will Prosper announced his candidacy for Quebec solidare in the riding of Bourassa-Sauvé. He was accompanied at the press conference by Mercier MNA Amir Khadir, who accused him of brutality and protested his presence.
Prosper, a former RCMP officer, was praised by Khadir for his community activism and his lead in investigating allegations of police brutality in Montreal North. Khadir then blocked the door with twenty masked protesters, who smashed bank windows and accused Prosper of complicity in police brutality.
