With only one week to go until the September 4 vote, Quebec's political parties are growing bored of the election, having run out of ideas for anything else to do on the campaign trail.
"Once we have nominated all the candidates, announced our platform and had the debates, the rest of the campaign is just boring," said PQ candidate Bernard Drainville.
"Oh my god, this last campaign week is so lame!" exclaimed Minnister of Families and Liberal candidate Yolande James. "I'm running as a Liberal in the West Island, so I locked up this seat years ago. What a waste of time this campaign is becoming."
"It's like reruns of M*A*S*H," said CAQ candidate Gaetan Barette. "The last few weeks of the campaign are just repetitive and never seem to be over."
"When does it end? I have a baby to take care of, I have grocery shopping to do," said Option nationale candidate Catherine Dorion.
"This campaign is so dull," said former Quebec solidaire leader, Amir Khadir. "At least I have some books to read in prison," he said.
"What? There's an election? When?" said Green Party leader Claude Sabourin.
