MONTRÉAL-- One day before the second and final leaders' debate on TVA, hospitals across Québec have been flooded with brain injuries caused by watching the first debate on Radio-Canada and Télé-Québec.
"CAT scans reveal that the brain is under enormous stress during a leaders' debate, caused by a mixture of stress, confusion and extreme boredom," said the president of the McGill University Health Centre, after he was finished placing unmarked bills into a brown envelope. "Especially when the leaders describe the same job or deficit numbers in four different ways, or when they talk about issues like the constitution that no one cares about, it can literally cause the cerebral cortex to turn into a lumpy mush."
Doctors recommend that when watching the TVA leaders' debate, viewers wear dark sunglasses and have adequate hearing protection.
