CAQ promises to lengthen school day: "We want students at every level to be pissed off"

CAQ leader Francois Legault was in Mirabel today to announce that his government would lengthen the school day to 8 hours, in a bid to piss off students below university age.

"It is unfair to piss off only university students by increasing their tuition fees.  We must annoy and aggravate students of all ages, starting with kindergarten." said Legault.

When asked how this change would affect high school dropout rates, Legault said "Students will be in school longer per day before they drop out, so their total schooling will increase."

Although the idea was highly unpopular with high school students, the FECQ and CLASSE supported the idea, saying "Misery loves company."
