CAQ promises $1000 tax cuts to stimulate deficit

CAQ leader Francois Legault made a pledge to reduce income taxes $1000 for most households in a bid to stimulate the deficit.

"If we want to stop the deficit from slipping back into negative growth, we need significant tax cuts  for the middle class," said Legault.  "As we have seen in nations such as Greece and Spain, a bigger deficit leads to more jobs, more money in the pockets of families and a greater sense of entitlement among citizens."

Legault made the announcement in a South Shore grocery store, which rigorously enforced its "no credit" policy throught Legault's visit.
