Quebec's main political parties watered their plants, took out the garbage and alphabetized their bookshelves on the third-to-last day before the election, as it appeared the campaign was over and everyone had made up their minds.
"The polls haven't changed since, the second week, so I'm going fishing," said West Island Liberal MNA Lawrence Bergman.
"I think the best way to show my constituents that I'm the best-qualified candidate is by cooking these sausages really well on the barbecue," said PQ Matane MNA Pascal Berube.
No one at the Coalition avenir Quebec office answered the phones, but an answering machine said they would be back at the office on Tuesday, September 4.
Quebec solidaire MNA Amir Khadir was out campaigning this weekend, saying that the only Labour Days he recognizes are on May 1 and November 7.
Super Quebec Vote Plus was unable to contact anyone at Option nationale or the Green Party because we couldn't be bothered.
