Asked about Péladeau's affect on Nordiques, NHL replies "Who?"

NEW YORK -- Asked what the impact of former Quebecor chairman Pierre Karl Péladeau's political career would have on the chances of the Nordiques returning to Quebec City, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly replied, "Who?"

When the questions was repeated more slowly, Daly appeared confused by the fact that Péladeau appeared to have two first names and asked if reporters were "talking about Pierre or Karl?"  He then asked if reporters were actually referring to the Sedin brothers.

After several minutes of follow-up questions, Daly said, "We have no expansion plans at the moment, but I can say that we know where Quebec is, and that there is both a city and a state in Canada called Quebec.  But whether or not an expansion team in Quebec would draft Pierre Bilodeau or his brother Karl is really a premature discussion at this point."
