ROUYN-NORANDA: Liberal leader Philippe Couillard, tired of Pierre Karl Péladeau getting all of the attention in the Québec general election and having been told by his advisors to appear more emotional in public, dyed his hair lime green and trashed his Rouyn-Noranda hotel room yesterday.
"I am so angry and emotionally engaged, see?" a monotone Couillard told reporters, showing a leg of a hotel chair that he said he recently broke. "This government makes me so, mad, tabernouche!" he declared, turning slightly red-cheeked as he said it.
(It was later revealed that Couillard was unable to break the chair and had several staffers assist him with its disassembly).
