BLAINVILLE - Former president of the Fédération étudiante universitaire du Québec (FEUQ), Martine Desjardins, told an audience of supporters that she would "FEUQ the taxpayers of Québec" if elected, as she announced that she would be the Parti québécois candidate in the riding of Groulx.
"During my time at the FEUQ, we FEUQed over Montreal by holding student street demonstrations every night," she said in her first campaign speech. "We FEUQed the justice system by ignoring court orders, and we FEUQed Quebec's taxpayers by demanding free tuition. These are the actions I wish to continue in the next government."
