QUÉBEC CITY -- The Director General of Elections confirmed that 10% of Quebecers voted in early elections to spare themselves another agonizing week of the campaign.
"Much like people commit suicide when they cannot bear the pain of continuing to live, 9.39% of Quebecers voted so that they would not have to face another week of election campaign," said the Director General in a communiqué.
Several early voters showed signs off self-inflicted injuries and uncontrolled gag reflex caused by the first three weeks of the campaign.
